About Remembrance Day, Veterans Day & War Memorials

This is something near and dear to me... Remembering the veterans of wars past who gave of themselves very sacrificially.

Here in Canada and we remember on November 11th (Remembrance Day), in the United States on the same day they celebrate Veterans Day, when does Europe have their remembrance?

I would love to see pictures of remembrance ceremonies (any times of year), and all the different cenotaphs and war memorials from around Canada, the United States and the world.

And if you've found this group but don't have any pictures yet, just head down to your local cenotaph or war memorial (any time of year) and get snapping if you feel so led.

And any memorial counts, just found an interesting memorial statue in the same park as our local cenotaph, for Albertans who served in the South African War, aka Boer War (1899 to 1902), a memorial statue erected in 1914.
