Here are two markers in my immediate neck of the woods. I don't know their numbers and haven't placed them on the map, but I will do both ... eventually.
Okay -- they are now numbered (27 and 52, respectively) and mapped. There are more in my area, so I'll have to get back out!

Hey Folks, when shooting the markers, could you also try to shoot whatever the marker is referring to, if it is still around. Like the photo above of Robert Frost's House. It would be good to not only record the markers themselves, but that which they are marking.

Erik, all you need to do is make sure that all the photos in your pool are geotagged (placed on a map) and then if you click on the map link from the main page of your group, and you will see the map. To filter that map for a specific task (like this), you have to make sure the photos are tagged with a specific tag you can search on.

BasenjiMomma, is the marker missing? It should be marker 190 as outlined from the NH Division of Historical Resources website:
HAVERHILL-BATH BRIDGE (Marker Number: 190)
Haverhill 2005
Constructed in 1829 by the towns of Bath and Haverhill at a cost of about $2,400, this is one of the oldest covered bridges in the United States. Built with 3-by-10-inch planks that were probably sawn at an adjacent mill, the span is the earliest surviving example of the lattice bridge truss that was patented in 1820 by Connecticut architect Ithiel Town (1784-1844). The bridge was strengthened with laminated wooden arches in 1921-22, and the upstream sidewalk was added at about the same time. The 256-foot-long bridge carried traffic for 170 years before being bypassed in 1999.
On the Haverhill side at the parking area adjacent to the bridge on NH Rte. 135
This marker was erected in cooperation with NH Department of Transportation.
Or is it that you have a photograph of it, but not its marker?

I have a photo of the bridge...but the marker was not there. It is a block from my house (takes me 2 minutes to walk there) I will go back and take a look...
They are renovating the bridge and it is in shambles right now...

#155 - Cherry Mountain Slide.
I had this one buried at the bottom of a Mt Madison winter 2006 hike photo archive. I knew I had it, but couldn't find it until I remembered it was a winter and not a summer hike. Also, that we stopped at this spot with my explicit insistence to stop for photographs at this spot. I must have got a message from the ether... :)

Some oddities. I noticed two markers (only photographed one) in Dublin, NH that appear to be official markers, but are not on the official list. Does any one happen to know why these markers were excluded?
They seem to fit in with the rest, but admittedly, I don't know how the state selected the official ones in the first place! ;-) Just curious. Thanks!
